EO Richmond Presents: Warren Rustand

EO Richmond was thrilled to host Warren Rustand for this year’s Signature Event.

During his presentation, titled "Next Level - Best Self" Warren spoke to how one can dramatically transform one’s life to a very different level with much greater success. The Five Principles of Personal Greatness as well as specific, applicable tools will be discussed. The conversation was around the totality of the entrepreneur’s life: family, business, community, self. It also included material from his book, "The Leader Within Us”

 

Warren is a hugely popular and awarded speaker who's topics often include is a frequent speaker on the subjects of leadership, business, family, and personal development. The common thread that permeates Warren Rustand’s s experience is one of vision, strategy, executive leadership, and achievement. He has created, led, and grown many successful private, public, and not-for-profit entities. He has a passion for family, entrepreneurship, public policy, and community.

 In 1973 he was selected as a White House Fellow through a nationally competitive process. He was appointed as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of Commerce where he co-led the first-ever Executive Level Trade Mission to the Soviet Union. He then became Special Assistant to then Vice President Gerald Ford. In 1974, when the Vice President became President, he asked Warren to serve as the Appointments Secretary and Cabinet Secretary to the President. 

For thirty years Warren led a public policy conference in Washington DC called “Public Policy and the Private Sector.” Over six thousand CEOs participated in the program which included meetings with the President, Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries, Congressional leadership, members of the Supreme Court, and leading lobbyists and journalists.

He is now a mentor, business strategist, advisor to CEOs and businesses globally. Chaired the YPO/WPO public policy conference titled, “Public Policy and the Private Sector,” for 30 years in Washington DC. Warren is also the Co-Founder and Dean of Faculty/Learning at the EO (Entrepreneur’s Organization) Global Leadership Academy in Washington, DC. He has been recognized with many honors and awards, among them: The Visionary Leadership Award, The Distinguished Citizens Award, The 25th Year Achievement Award, The Sports Hall of Fame, The Robbie Award, and Father of the Year Award.
